With great joy and gratitude to the Almighty God, I warmly welcome you all to this epoch making First Graduation Ceremony of the Mountain Top Theological Seminary (MTTS), Port Harcourt Campus.
The Seminary, by the grace of God, has made tremendous progress since inception. There have been commendable improvements in the activities and operations of this great institution. The Lord has empowered us to put all these things in place in order to make our students, especially those graduating today, better equipped for the task ahead in the service of the Lord.
The seed of yesterday has blossomed into today’s flower. The first set of students from the first Satellite campus of the Seminary is graduating today is one of glorious achievement. Glory be to God! You have been impacted to master the future! But to fools, the future comes to them unawares, you are not so! You have received and been equipped with adequate biblical wisdom for ministerial capacity building needed for contemporary kingdom exploits.
Eccl. 7:8 says, “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof. You have laboured, travailed in the course of many years to come this far. To this end, I would like to congratulate all graduands; the faculty; the current students of the Seminary, Lagos and Port Harcourt; the AGO and entire South South 1 Region of MFM Port Harcourt for making history today as the first Satellite campus to turn out graduates; and all those who have come to celebrate with us on this glorious occasion.
Again, to the graduands, I believe God that the efforts of all those who have laboured on you in the course of your studies, lecturers and all, shall not be in vain. This Seminary has been used by God to damage ignorance in your life and to remove your name from the register of ministerial nonentities and failures, so that you can impart and impact your generation with the knowledge and wisdom acquired from learning at the feet of Jesus.
You have succeeded in the qualifying examinations of this Seminary, in preparation for you to be a good representative of the institution and God’s kingdom. I implore you to use all you have learnt to succeed in the examination of life, which eventually determines your placement in the affairs of life. Ensure that you keep adding value to your life and transmitting the same to your generation and future generations, such that you will finish life well and stronger than you began.
Again, I say CONGRATULATIONS to you all! I earnestly desire to hear good news about how you are faring, even as I pray that your lives and ministries shall end well without reproach, as you keep standing for God in all areas of life, in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
